HEY! I’M SHEELA…

I run a business in an industry I’m genuinely passionate about – Personal Development.

After more than a decade in healthcare, most recently in the mental health sector, I decided it was time to do something for myself.

My husband and I, along with our two daughters (9 and 15), have been calling Auckland home since 2023.

Between the kids’ sports, my own new karate lessons, and enjoying the local area, life is full.

Born and raised on an island in India, the beach will always be my happy place.

Our business gives us the freedom to live where we choose, explore the world, and create a lifestyle I once only dreamed of.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I spent 14 years in healthcare, working as a mental health nurse, counsellor and Health Improvement Practitioner.

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that you can train your brain to be how you want it to be – and I loved helping people do just that.

It was a hugely rewarding career, but by the end of the day I had nothing left in the tank for my own family.

I realised I needed more flexibility, more freedom, and more energy to actually enjoy life, so I made the decision to start my own online business in Personal Development.

FINDING MY BUSINESS FEET: I had no business experience when I first started putting my ideas out into the world.

What I did have was a passion for mental health, so I built a big social media following by sharing tips, advice, and spreading awareness.

I loved helping people recover and change their situation, but I wasn’t treating it like a business.

I knew I wanted to keep that passion alive, but also work within a business community, with the kind of portability that would let me travel and be more present with my own family.

That’s when I went looking for a better way forward.

THE MINDSET SHIFT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING:

I’ve always been passionate about learning new skills and see Personal Development as an essential part of life. 

Back in my nursing days in India, managing a team of over 100 staff, I thrived on training, mentoring, and working with people who wanted to better themselves.

I was always on the lookout for ways to live a smoother, more fulfilling life and the right books gave me the confidence to hold my posture in meetings and advance my career.

During one of my “what’s next?” searches, I stumbled across a website much like the one you’re on now.

 Something about it caught my attention, I popped in my details, and as they say, the rest is history!

THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BOOM: The business I found that day is the one I’m proud to run today, representing award-winning Personal Development products.

For me, it was the complete package right from the start.

It’s simple to learn, step-by-step, and gives me the ‘time freedom’, financial freedom, and the ability to travel without my income taking a hit.

Travel is my cup of tea – especially exploring local cuisine – and now my whole family gets to do that too.
